Which links are affiliate links

Every link in the “Our current picks” section of a guide is an affiliate link. They are marked in the page code with rel="sponsored" and a disclosure notice appears at the top of each guide, above any product mention.

Links to our own products are not affiliate links. We sell those ourselves.

What the commission does not change

The commission is paid by Amazon, not by the manufacturer. No brand pays us for placement, and no brand sees a guide before it is published. Where we think the right answer is that you do not need the product at all, the guide says so.
